WOW!!!  What a Memorial Day Weekend we have had with Toltec Chihuahuas!

Angel has completed her championship, going Winners Bitch all four days of the Toy Group Shows in Fitchburg, MA.  Good going Vicki.  Knew you could do it!

Holy Cow is proving that she has the beauty to go with her brains.  She was Winners Bitch all four days too.  This gives her three majors and a single for a total of 11 points, all from the Bred by Exhibitor Class.  In Saturday's BBE group Cow also got a Group Three.

Susan Pease showed Lizzie two of the days in Novice Rally and qualified on Saturday.  Not a bad accomplishment with only two training classes under their belts.  Susan has now been bitten by the performance bug so I expect to be seeing them at more trials, racking up those green ribbons.

PERFORMANCE EVENTS

Lizzie and owner, Susan Pease are training hard in rally.  Susan says that she can keep at this forever and then she won't have to buy another confirmation dog just to have something for the ring.  Lets see how long it takes before she changes her mind and wants a little puppy running around her house! 

Holy Cow and Louise are training hard in agility.  As AKC does not allow for a dog to compete until 18 months of age, it will be next fall before we see them out on the course but I am told that Cow has found her passion in life.

Just remember, it can be harder to train a smart dog than a dumb one. 

It is the smart ones that can figure out how to get away with things.

Patience, persistance and perspective (the dog's perspective) are the key to training a Chihuahua!
